Deep redware plate with dark brown slip trailing, made in the style of pottery from  upper Randolph and lower Guilford Counties, North Carolina, late 18th - early 19th centuries.

Glazed interior only.

 8 1/2" diameter x 2" high.

This is a new piece of pottery made in the old style, not an antique.
