To see a wider selection of my wares, come visit my work place in the Westmoore Community near Seagrove, North Carolina. Here I maintain a  retail shop where the majority of my work is sold. I make thousands of different items, many of which are not pictured on the website. Though I never have everything in stock at any given time, I do unload at least one kiln load of pottery every other week during the year, except in the month of January.
 
The building encloses both retail shop and work space. Visitors are free to watch me work and ask questions endlessly!

At his point in my life I don't promise regular hours.  Usually I am open 9-5.  Westmoore Pottery is always closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. In addition, I close on Thanksgiving Day and close every year from December 24-February 1st.

However, occasionally "open days and hours" may vary from this schedule.  I'll close to go to museum and archaeological conferences, and as I get older I must sometimes close due to doctor's appointments.  If I know ahead of time of a day when Westmoore Pottery will be closed,  I do post it on the Home Page of this website.  For 35 years I was open regular as clockwork for 6 days a week, then another 2 years for 5 days a week.  Now the time has come for more variability in hours to cope with what life brings!

Westmoore Pottery is located in central North Carolina, halfway between the towns of Seagrove and Robbins. Turn off Highway 705 onto Busbee Road; go 1/2 mile, and Westmoore Pottery will be on your left. Here is a map showing the location within North Carolina:

For those flying into our area from a distance, the nearest airport is Piedmont Triad International in Greensboro. However, airports in Raleigh-Durham and in Charlotte are only slightly farther away.
