17th century Dutch redware baking dish to be used inside an iron bake kettle or in an oven in hearth cookery.  This is glazed interior only, with three feet, a turned-out thumbprinted rim, and deliberate finger ridging and rill on the exterior. 

7" diameter and 3 1/2" tall.

This is a new piece of pottery made in the old style, not an antique.
