Our handblown glass is made by Virginia glassblowers John Pierce and Dave Byerly, in the style of old glass.
Their beautiful pieces reflect their combined 40+ years of experience in working with glass, as well as their knowledge of old glassware. All sizes are approximate, as batches do vary in size. Glass should be handwashed in warm water and should not be used as containers for hot liquids.

Glassware is in stock, unless otherwise indicated.

These are all handblown new replicas of old glass, not antiques!

To our customers:
Due to the sudden tragic death of glassblower John Pierce, and the exit of his partner Dave Byerly from the glassblowing business, we will not be able to obtain any more of their lovely handblown glass in the future. We have been admirers of John and Dave, and of their work, ever since we first ran into them, and are greatly saddened by this turn of events.
The loss leaves us having a reasonable quantity of some glass items, whereas some we only have a few of, and some we have already sold out of completely. (Word is spreading fast of John's death, and we have already sold a lot of glass since then.)
I did want to let you know this, so that those of you who have been slowly buying sets of drinking glasses, and those of you who have simply been slowly buying all the glass you want would be aware that once our current stock is gone, we can get no more.
If you do need to order glass, we will be glad to send it to you via UPS if you cannot pick it up here. If you are adding to an existing set of drinking glasses, please be sure when you call us to have height and diameter measurements of the ones you have, so that we can match as closely as possible those you already own. (Being handblown, there is of course some variation in size.)
