Medium 18th century British tazza, of clear glass. 5 1/2" tall and 9" wide.
By mid 18th century the dessert pyramid began to be used in well-to-do households. Various sized tazzas were stacked, with each tazza layer containing full jelly glasses, fruits, and other dessert treats.
This is a new handblown replica of old glass, not an antique.
Handblown in the US.
Not intended for hot liquids. Hand wash only, with warm soapy water.
