The Seagrove, N.C. area currently has over 100 potteries. These small businesses are spread out over a very rural area encompassing the corners of Randolph, Moore, Montgomery, and Chatham Counties.

Some of these potteries are full-time businesses, some part-time. Some do traditional work, some contemporary. Some potteries sell only their own pieces, some sell work from many different potters. In short, the variety is tremendous.

Visitors enjoy going from pottery to pottery. (Driving, not walking!) Most are within a 20 mile radius of the town of Seagrove. There's no single starting point. Most potteries provide maps of the area for visitors.
