Product Description

Deep redware platter, decorated with slip-trailing in yellow, green, and dark brown slips.  Unglazed on the back.

Made in the style of platters from North Carolina (latter half of 18th century through around 1830), Virginia (18th century through mid 19th century), and Pennsylvania (18th century through mid 19th century.)

13 3/4" diameter and 2 1/2" high.

This is a new piece of pottery made in the old style, not an antique.
