Redware milk pan with spout, made in the style of pottery made by the Piercy pottery of Alexandria, Va. from 1792 through the very early 1800s.
Milk pans were used in dairying.
Glazed interior only with very dark manganese glaze.
10 1/2" in diameter, 2 1/4" high, one quart in capacity.
This is a new piece of pottery made in the old style, not an antique.
